Grants

The Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® Foundation is committed to supporting the incredible work of local charitable organizations. Through our grant program, we aim to make a meaningful impact by funding initiatives that improve lives in our community.

Financial Grants

Our financial grants are designed to assist local non-profit organizations that align with our mission of strengthening communities through housing-related support and outreach. We are a small organization, but we strive to maximize our resources to help as many charities as possible.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a financial grant, your organization must:
  • Be a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
  • Serve communities within the Greater Harrisburg area.
  • Align with the Foundation’s mission and values.

How to Apply

To be considered for a financial grant in 2025, complete the grant application and provide all required supporting documentation by March 1, 2025. Supporting documentation includes:
  • A brief overview of your organization’s mission and programs.
  • A description of how the grant funds will be used.
  • Your most recent IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter.
  • A copy of your organization’s most recent financial statement or budget.

The Foundation Board of Directors reviews all applications and selects recipients in March. Notifications of grant decisions will be sent shortly after the review process.

Additional Opportunities to Partner

Beyond financial grants, the Foundation offers several ways for charitable organizations to partner with us:

  • Donation Drives: Let us know if your organization has a need for items such as personal care products, blankets, socks, or other necessities. Information is requested by March 1, 2025.
  • Community Work Days: Our REALTORS® Reach Out (RRO) program mobilizes REALTOR® volunteers for half-day service projects, typically held in the fall. We are also open to exploring opportunities throughout the year. Submit your volunteer project ideas by March 1, 2025.
