2024 Awards Opportunities
Applications/nominations for the 2024 awards season are now being accepted! Please complete the application and return it to Deb@ghar.realtor by September 27 to be considered. All submissions will be reviewed by the awards committee. Awards will be presented at the Holiday Lunch on December 4.
Hall of Fame
This award recognizes significant contributions of the individual with 10 or more years of commitment to the development, growth, improvement and/or excellence of the real estate industry whether locally, in Pennsylvania or in the nation. An individual may be a recipient of this award only once.
REALTOR® of the Year
This award recognizes a member who shows a variety of contributions to the Association, the community, the real estate business and demonstrates the spirit of being a REALTOR®. A nominee must be a REALTOR® in good standing. An individual may be a recipient of this award more than once, but not two years in a row. An individual for whom an application is submitted may be nominated any year (s)he meets award criteria except for the four officers of the Association, who are ineligible during the years they serve as officers.
Commercial Member of the Year
This award recognizes a commercial member who shows activity at the Local/State/National Association levels, is an active community member, and is an outstanding business professional and exhibits REALTOR® spirit. A nominee must be a REALTOR® in good standing. An individual may be a recipient of this award more than once, but not two years in a row. The recipient may not be the current chair or vice chair of the Commercial Council Board of Directors.
Professional Merit Award
This award, presented only once to qualifying members of GHAR in good standing, recognizes REALTOR® professionalism through education, Association participation and involvement, and community service during the year of application.
Business Partner of the Year
This award recognizes a business partner member who shows a variety of contributions to the Association and the Foundation. A nominee exhibits the true nature of being a dedicated business partner with the Association by sharing their time and showcasing their expertise. The member may be a recipient of this award more than once, but not two years in a row.
Past President
This award is presented to the GHAR Past President on behalf of the Association and it’s members as a way to recognize and acknowledge this individuals volunteer leadership.
