Letter to PA House of Representatives

2022 GHAR President Sylvia Hess and Government Affairs Committee Chair Matt Madden sent a letter on behalf of GHAR to the Central PA Delegation of the General Assembly, Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry County Commissioners and PennDOT opposing the plan to toll the I-83 South Bridge. A commonwealth judge issued a preliminary injunction ordering PennDOT to stop work on its plan until the full court can make a decision after Cumberland County and several municipalities filed a lawsuit over the tolling of a bridge on I-83. The court ruled PennDOT violated public process when its P3 committee approved the plan.
