Professional Merit Award

Recognizing Commitment to Professionalism and Service

The Professional Merit Award honors GHAR REALTOR® members who exemplify the highest standards of professionalism through active participation in the Association, dedication to continuing education, and meaningful community service. This award is presented only once to qualifying members in good standing.

The award recognizes achievements from October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026.

Recipients are honored at the Association’s Holiday Lunch on December 2, 2026

All submitted information is subject to verification by the Special Awards Committee and Association records.

REALTOR® ASSOCIATION PARTICIPATION POINTS

A minimum of 50 points is required.
5 points for each committee; if a committee chair, no points (see below).
10 points for each committee chair.
Board of Directors in 2026
If an officer, only select officer, not GHAR Board of Director.
Attendance at Association Meetings
Other Association Social Events including the Membership Reception, Socials, Taste of the World, Commercial Council Socials, Commercial Tours (5 points for each event)
(10 points for each orientation)
Legislative Involvement
5 points if less than $49.50; 10 points if $49.50 or more in 2026.
5 points for each meeting or convention.
Like or follow GHAR Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn; Subscribe to weekly emails; Member in GHAR Facebook group; Post in GHAR Facebook group; Participate in promotional video or series; Assisted in a social media campaign. (2 points each)
