NAR Code of Ethics Requirement
All REALTOR® members must take the Code of Ethics training.
REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time in 3-year cycles.
The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®.
The current Cycle 8 began on Jan. 1, 2025, and ends on Dec. 31, 2027.
Options to take the Code of Ethics Training:
- Continuing Education class and it will also fulfill your NAR requirement. Class Schedule here. (Class title: Practice Safe, Legal Real Estate by Following RELRA for those licensed before 12/1/2023)
- Register for an online continuing education class through GHRI online and it will also fulfill your NAR requirement. Click here.
- Take it free from NAR online. This option does not count as continuing education. Click here.
- Complete the Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) endorsement. This does not count as continuing education. Click here.
