Spasic named 2020 president of REALTORS® foundation

Foundation Celebrates Successful Year in 2019

ENOLA, PA (Jan. 7, 2020) – In a ceremony led by the 2019 Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® Foundation President Isabel Warrell with NextHome Capital Realty in Camp Hill, the Foundation installed Kelly Spasic with Help U Sell Detwiler Realty in Carlisle as president for the upcoming year.

She assumed her duties beginning January 1, 2020. Warrell continues to serve on the Foundation’s Board of Directors as past president.

Also installed as officers for 2020 were: Vice President Danielle Wadsworth, ABR, C2EX, MRP, SRS, AHWD, with Dream Home Realty in Lemoyne, and Secretary/Treasurer Keith Lipari with RE/MAX 1st Advantage in Mechanicsburg.

Installed as directors for the Foundation were: Richard French with Keller Williams Realty in Harrisburg; Stephen Haldeman, ABR, SRS, CMRS with Keller Williams Realty in Harrisburg; Taryn Meck, SRS, C2EX, with Green Acres Realty Co. in Newport; and Christopher Pirritano with RE/MAX Realty Associates in Camp Hill.

Continuing to serve on the Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2020 are: Jeremy McMichael, an affiliate member with A Plus Mortgage Solutions, Inc. in Mechanicsburg; and Danielle Wise, e-PRO, with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Capital Area in Harrisburg.

The Foundation also celebrated another successful year in 2019. Through the generous donations of REALTORS® and affiliate members, the Foundation was able to distribute $14,000 to seven organizations across the South Central Pennsylvania area.

The Foundation had its most successful year ever with its Thanksgiving Food Drive. The Foundation was able to provide turkeys and Karn’s gift cards to 24 different organizations that distributed the turkeys and gift cards to 1,000 less fortunate families in the greater Harrisburg area.

The mission of the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® Foundation is to financially support non-profit charitable organizations with a housing- and shelter- related focus which enrich the quality of life and support the human need of the Greater Harrisburg community.
