GHAR welcomes selected general counsel
ENOLA, PA (Dec. 4, 2019) – The Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® is pleased to announce that Victoria Edwards, Esq. with Mette Evans and Woodside has been selected to represent GHAR as general counsel effective January 1, 2020. Victoria has worked alongside Jim Goldsmith, Esq. at Mette Evans and Woodside for a number of years and on the PAR Legal Hotline. GHAR believes this will be a great transition and while Jim will no longer represent GHAR as general counsel, we are not saying goodbye as he will still be involved with the Association by leading classes and will continue to be a resource for Victoria. GHAR thanks Jim for his years of service, dedication to the industry, and entertaining wit.
Victoria grew up in a small town in Central Texas and went to Southwestern University where she graduated with a degree in Sociology and Communications. Her father was originally from Pennsylvania but had been posted in San Antonio while he was in the Army. She decided that she wanted to come back North to her father’s roots and was accepted to Penn State Dickinson School of Law and graduated from Dickinson in 2005 and started practicing here in Central Pennsylvania.
Victoria has represented both individuals and corporations in her legal practice. While practicing under the tutelage of Jim Goldsmith, he has mentored and guided her in the real estate portion of her practice. Victoria lives in Harrisburg and enjoys jogging with her dog along the river and loves the festivals downtown and sushi at Miyako’s. She loves Midtown and the Midtown Scholar, the Millworks and Little Amps.
Victoria states, “It is my great honor to have been selected to represent GHAR, and I hope that I will get to know each of you”. The Association will be introducing Victoria at the Annual Holiday Lunch on December 13 , which will be a great opportunity for members to come and meet her. GHAR is looking forward to having Victoria represent the Association as general counsel.
