Carney Named 2024 Foundation Board President
[Enola, PA, December 18, 2023] In a ceremony led by the 2010 Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® Foundation President Jodi Diego, Laurie Carney, SRES, SRS, C2EX, ABR, AHWD with Dream Home Realty LLC, was installed as the Foundation Board President.
Carney will commence her presidential duties on January 1, 2024, steering the Foundation towards new horizons. Notably, the upcoming year will not have a Foundation Board Past President.
Joining Carney in pivotal leadership roles for 2023 are Vice President Karen Agar, with Keller Williams of Central PA, and Secretary/Treasurer Chris Pirritano, with RE/MAX Realty Associates.
The directors welcomed to the Foundation Board for the year include Derek Bicksler with EXP Realty in Philadelphia, Saya Fry with Coldwell Banker Realty in Hershey, Noel Kelley with Coldwell Banker Realty, and Danielle Winn, MRE, ABR, MRP, SRS, AHWD, CRB, PSA, C2EX, with Dream Home Realty LLC.
Continuing their service on the Foundation’s Board of Directors are Stephen Fleming, SRES, ABR, CNE, C2EX, with D’Angelo Realty Group Inc., and Harry Williams, with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services.
The Foundation celebrated another triumphant year, made possible through the generosity of REALTORS® and Business Partners. A total of $15,000 was distributed to seven organizations across the South-Central Pennsylvania area. The Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to provide financial support to non-profit charitable organizations with a housing- and shelter-related focus.
Adding warmth to the holiday season, the Foundation’s Thanksgiving Food Drive resonated with success. Providing turkeys and Karn’s gift cards, the Foundation reached 24 different organizations, touching the lives of 1,000 less fortunate families in the greater Harrisburg area.
