GHAR designates new Director of Member Engagement and Communications & Government Affairs Director

ENOLA, PA (July 19, 2018) – Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® (GHAR) is expanding its services to its members with recent additions to its leadership team, including a new Director of Member Engagement and Communications and Government Affairs Director.

Haley Gunnet assumes the role of Director of Member Engagement and Communications. In this newly created position, Gunnet will lead GHAR’s marketing efforts and help advance members’ professional growth. “One of my largest goals is working towards solidifying the organization’s digital presence, prioritizing the Association’s website and Facebook and Instagram” said Gunnet. She will be responsible for strategic communications of both the Association and Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® Foundation.

Gunnet is a native of York, PA and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Penn State. Gunnet brings a well-rounded knowledge of public relations and marketing trends through her previous work at Roda Creative Services, Auntie Anne’s, and Shipley Energy. In joining the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS®, Gunnet can continue her success.

Haley Gunnet and Bryan Burton will report to Kathy Ludwig, CEO. “I am pleased to welcome Haley Gunnet and Bryan Burton to our team. The addition of Haley and Bryan will allow GHAR to improve member communications, expand member services, enhance our political advocacy, and increase our overall community service,” said Kathy Ludwig.

Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® (GHAR) recently appointed Bryan Burton to address local, state, and federal public policy issues. As Government Affairs Director, Burton continues GHAR’s political interests in relation to local REALTORS® and the real estate industry.

Bryan Burton comes with a wealth of experience from Associated Builders and Contractors of Pennsylvania, where he worked on various state, federal, and legal issues surrounding the commercial and industrial construction industry. Burton has also worked in the State Senate and has served on the Accessibility Advisory Board for the PA Department of Labor & Industry.

In joining the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS®, Burton can continue his success. Burton will be responsible for developing communications and grassroots strategies to support the Association’s government affairs efforts. He will also work closely with the Association’s Government Affairs Committee and its Commercial Council.
